Madhyanchal Professional University was established in 2018 by the Vanshpati Smriti Shiksha Smiti (VSSS) under the banner of Patel Group of Institutions. It is a fully-fledged multidisciplinary private university in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The university offers various UD, PG, diploma, and doctoral programmes in the fields of engineering, management, pharmacy, humanities, basic and applied sciences, agriculture, commerce, and many more.

Madhyanchal University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). moreover, all the Madhyanchal Professional University courses are approved by authorities such as the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Indian Nursing Council (INC), Madhya Pradesh Nurses Registration Council (MPNRC).

The Madhyanchal Professional University campus is located at Ratibad, Bhopal, and is spread across 150 acres. The campus has seven academic faculties and two Centres of Excellence. It also has all modern facilities such as a canteen, a healthcare centre, a library, a number of laboratories, a student common room, courier services, and many more. The university is well-known for its placement facilities. In 2023, the Madhyanchal Professional University highest package offered was Rs 10 lakh per annum.

Madhyanchal Professional University offers a variety of scholarships to meritorious and deserving students. The MPU scholarships are awarded based on academic merit, sports achievements, and other criteria. Some of the scholarships offered by MPU include:

Merit Cum Means Scholarship:

This scholarship is awarded to students with more than 90% marks (PCM) or 80% marks (Commerce/Arts) in the Class 12 with position secured in the National Talent Hunt test. The scholarship amount shall be determined based on the National Talent Hunt Examination Marks.

Sports Scholarship:

This sports scholarship applies to students who have participated and won medal at national and international levels. State-level participants are awarded 20 % concession on tuition fee, whereas National-level participants are awarded 50 % concession. 

MP Government Scholarship:

This scholarship is awarded to reserved categories students such as ST/SC/OBC. The Government of Madhya Pradesh awards this scholarship based on the family's annual income. Students with family income below Rs 3,00,000 are eligible to apply.

The university prepares the Madhyanchal Professional University merit lists for its various courses based on the marks obtained by the students in the entrance examinations. For admission to its B.Tech programmes, it accepts JEE Main and MPUCET exams. For all other courses, the university conducts the MPUCET exam. Students whose names appear on the curse-specific Madhyanchal Professional University merit lists are offered admission to the respective courses.
